Featured bands from the summer of 2019
Chaque Fois Band
Katie Trautz with Chaque Fois

"Chaque Fois!" performs Cajun music that sets a festive atmosphere. The name translates to "every time," and represents the fun and energy the group generates whenever they play together. The band is led by Alec Ellsworth (accordion, fiddle, vocals) and Katie Trautz (fiddle, vocals). Both multi-instrumentalists, they weave rhythms, harmonies and melodies together with their instruments and voices. They are joined by Chris Hollis on guitar and triangle, and Helen Doyle on bass.

Patti Casey and the Wicked Fine Players Band
Patti Casey and the Wicked Fine Players

After many years of touring nationally with Woods Tea Co., Patti Casey has reunited with longtime musical collaborator Colin McCaffrey and former Bluegrass Gospel Project bandmates Steve Light and Kirk Lord. This highly anticipated reunion is the perfect frame for Patti, allowing for a little more blue in the bluegrass, a little more swing, and a whole lot of beautiful fiddle and killer vocal harmonies, Kirk's spot-on, low-key, rock-solid acoustic bass, Steve's award-winning banjo and dobro, and of course, Patti's voice and songs, which have not only won national awards, but many hearts as well.

Chad Hollister Band
Chad Hollister

Pacific Recording Artist and VT native Chad Hollister are coming to Burger night!

Chad has released five recordings and toured the globe supporting such acts as Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Tom Petty and Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top. He tours in many formations from solo , duo as well as with his 10 piece band. His music is a voice for the positive which he feels is needed now more than ever before. Hollister believes in supporting the community and has been active with Prevent Child Abuse VT, Common Roots (bringing locally sourced food into our schools and communities) as well as VT Federation of Families. Hollister is also a proud husband and father of two children and proud to call Vermont home.

Dave Keller Band
Dave Keller

Dave Keller is considered one of the finest blues and soul men of his generation. He will be singing songs from his 2018 album, Every Soul's a Star, which hit #1 on the Roots Music Report Soul Blues Chart. Released on esteemed soul blues label Catfood Records, and produced by triple-Grammy-winner Jim Gaines (Santana, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Tower of Power), it was nominated for a Blues Music Award for Best Soul Blues Album of the Year. Downbeat magazine awarded Keller's album a coveted 4-star rating, and AXS.com recently named Keller as one of "The Best 13 Blues Singers." Elmore magazine calls Keller, "a magnificent soul singer, his luxuriant voice rising flawlessly to every occasion,", and Living Blues describes Keller's album as, "moving and powerful...confirms his rightful place in the soul universe...Steve Cropper-like riffs and soaring vocals...songwriting genius...straight-to-the-heart soul."

Notes from Burger Night participants:

We had such a wonderful evening last night at the templeton farm. Even the rain could not dampen our enjoyment of the spectacular local food and some of vermont's most talented musicians. Everywhere I looked there was a smiling face, a mouthful of nutritious beef, and a toe a'tappin!

Our appreciation of your efforts to sustain a working landscape transcends this one event. By pasturing grass-fed beef, improving soil health, and being excellent stewards of the maple forest, Templeton Farm is a showcase of sustainability and respect for our agrarian heritage.

Thank you and we hope to join you again!

The Alexanders - 08/22/2019

Such a wonderful event last night Bruce. Congrats to you and your family for your contribution to the community and farming!

Greg - 08/22/2019

I just wanted to say thank you and great job on Burger Night this week! Every aspect of the event was tremendously enjoyable: setting, staff, food, music, facilities, attitude, energy. You hit it out of the park.

Looking forward to returning soon!
